What is Management?

What is Management? Perhaps a word or a term which consists of much effort and hardship. Management can be defined as the act of coordinating the efforts of many people into accomplishing a certain goals or objectives by using the available resources effectively and efficiently. Management consists of planning, organizing, leading and controlling an organization to a small company. Based on my previous research, good management skills and a great leader can turn a company from lose to profitability in a short term. Not to forget that, not all business are the same. Some companies leaders tries to adopt famous CEO (Chief Executive Officer) management style and they do not achieve the same result compare to them. In my opinion, management styles should be creative and innovative in order to have a good results. For instance, Google not only introduce us about search tools, maps and apps but the most important would be their innovative management.

By now we everyone should have realize that today is more of an age of sharp technological culture compare to the decades ago. Based on my opinion, what has not change since the past generation would be the management styles. Most corporations still adopt a single concept which is a single CEO leading a vast and global enterprise to me this management style is to be look as outdated and inefficient. Lets turn our focus back on Google not only gives their employees the best possible freedom and also motivations for them to push to a higher limit and engineers are allowed to work outside their own free time. Addition to that, while in the office, employees can get access to topnotch facilities and resources to create what they dream of. Not to forget that Google also provide lots of perks such as free food, gym, insurance and many more. Google also allowed employees to play video game while on work. This approach of freedom and management styles may seem chaotic or even democratic but the results proves that it works.
